This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how we handle delivery of products purchased from V.I.P. Furniture & Bedding Cairns. All deliveries are governed by Australian
Consumer Law.
Delivery Notice
Delivery includes drop-off of new furniture only. Our team does not move, remove, or rearrange existing furniture, nor assemble items, unless prior arrangements have been made with the store and are clearly noted and paid for on your invoice. Customers must ensure that delivery areas are clear, accessible, and ready to accept delivery.
Specific delivery times cannot be guaranteed; deliveries are scheduled within a timeframe based on logistics and route planning, and customers will be notified of an estimated delivery window in advance.
Delivery Availability
We offer delivery across Cairns and the wider Far North Queensland region, including (but not limited to) Atherton, Port Douglas, Mossman, Innisfail, Mareeba, and
surrounding areas.
Delivery Fees
- Delivery fees are calculated at the time of sale and are not included in the product price.
- Fees vary depending on the size/weight of the item and your delivery location.
- We will provide an exact quote before you finalise your purchase.
Delivery Process
- Delivery is to the front door or a safe ground-floor location (unless you request and pay for additional services such as inside placement or assembly).
- Risk and ownership of the goods pass to you upon delivery or collection.
- You (or an adult representative) must be present at the time of delivery to accept the goods and sign for them.
Inspection on Delivery
You should inspect the goods upon delivery. Any visible damage or missing items must be noted on the delivery paperwork and reported to us within 24 hours of delivery.
Failed Delivery
If we are unable to deliver because no one is home or access is not possible, we may charge a redelivery fee or return the goods to our store. Storage fees may apply if the
goods are held beyond a reasonable period.
