At V.I.P. Furniture & Bedding Cairns we stand behind the quality of every product we sell. This Warranty Policy explains the manufacturer warranties that apply to our products. These warranties are in addition to your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Manufacturer Warranties
We stock products from leading brands with the following standard warranties:
- La-Z-Boy Recliners – Lifetime warranty on the frame and reclining mechanism, 3–5 years on fabric, foam, and other components (varies by model).
- Beds R Us Mattresses – Up to 10 years warranty on all Australian-made mattresses. Other products (bed frames, lounges, accessories) come with their respective manufacturer warranties. Details are provided at the time of sale.
- IMG Comfort – Standard manufacturer warranty (details provided at time of sale).
- Furniture Court products – Standard manufacturer warranty (details provided at time of sale).
Warranty Exclusions Warranties do not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, including pilling, fading, loss or deterioration (of the whole product or its components)
- Damage caused by improper use, cleaning, negligence, treatment, transportation, storage of the products or otherwise caused by your acts and/or omissions
- Damage caused through any modifications, alterations, improper assembly, tampering or products used in an abnormal manner and not for the products intended purposes
- Damage caused by exposing the products to the sun, extreme heat or cold, or chemicals/agents that are known to damage the finish of the product
- Body impressions on mattresses, sofas and chairs where the indentation is less than 35mm
- Damages caused by Act of God
- Defects in products that are sold As Is which were brought to your attention on purchase
- Products used for commercial purposes
How to Make a Warranty Claim
To make a claim:
- Provide proof of purchase (receipt or invoice)
- Contact us as soon as possible after discovering the issue
- Return the item (or part of it) for assessment if requested
We will assess the claim and advise the appropriate remedy (repair, replacement, or refund).
